Our first SINGING BY THE SEA 5-day retreat in Queenscliff was an unqualified success. 5-star meals, bountiful morning teas, (who says it’s not about the food?) ferry rides, charming environment, wacky evening events…plus the pleasure I had in working with Annemarie Sharry, whose sparkling attitude and wide-ranging repertoire (including Freedom by Beyonce) was a beautiful foil to my niche songlist of gospel songs. Though I did add Van Morrison’s Irish Heartbeat to the mix.
Annemarie was a hit with everyone, the group was sensationally keen and we hit some remarkable moments, musically, emotionally, ecstatically. A huge thank you to Annemarie, Jann, and all the chums who the week so outstanding. We plan to return to Queenscliff for another 5-day singing retreat November 11-16, 2024.
