The two great Sydney a cappella gospel choirs join together to sing up the Opera House at dusk on October 24, as part of a project to mark the beginning of the Opera House’s 50th Anniversary year.
Each evening at dusk, From the Steps features an open-air performance on the Monumental Steps by local community choirs, representing the voices of Sydney. Curated by Sydney Philharmonia Choirs Artistic Director, Brett Weymark, performances will followed by a new work created and projected on to the sails, using decades of Sydney Opera House archival footage
Each night of the program will be non-ticketed and free,
