The Cafe of the Gate of Salvation returns to PBC to raise funds for living and legal expenses for political prisoner Dan Duggan and his family.
Help free Dan Duggan – political prisoner in NSW. Dan Duggan, Australian Citizen and father of six, has been detained in maximum security since October 2022 on the say-so of the United States government. He has not been charged with an offence in Australia and has no criminal history anywhere in the world.
Dan’s incarceration has had a devastating emotional and financial stress on his family. To quote internationally renowned Human Rights lawyer Geoffrey Robertson KC: “It’s a disgrace that a man like this with a presumption of innocence should be held separately away from his wife and children. It’s contrary to all beliefs in family life and in freedom”
“In human rights terms, the law as declared by Australian judges is utterly wrong.”
